Meet the Team

Church Leaders (Elders)

This team carries overall responsibility for the church.

Malcolm Boyd

Malcolm Boyd

Malcolm (Mal) was brought up in a Christian family in Belfast (NI), becoming a Christian aged 11 at a Scripture Union camp. He moved to England to go to university in Bath where he studied Mechanical Engineering and met his wife Caroline. They've been involved at Myton Church since moving to the area in 2004 and have two children, Juliet and Noah. Malcolm works for DCA Design International in Warwick as a senior manager specialising in design and development of medical and scientific products. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, loves running and rugby (most sports really), and plays the guitar.

Tim Carter

Tim Carter

Tim was brought up on the Wirral in a Christian home and has had the privilege of always knowing he was loved by God. In his teenage years he distinctly remembers a youth talk where the realisation of Jesus’ saving grace was personal and for him to accept. His faith was strengthened at university in Liverpool where he developed a passion for evangelism and youth work. When serving at Church and the Christian Union, Tim met his wife Grace and together they moved to Leamington in 2018 where they became members of Myton church. During the day Tim is a physiotherapist and he is a lover of all things outdoors.

Ben Harding

Ben was privileged to grow up in a Christian home. Having seen the grace and love of the gospel lived out at home he gave his life to Christ as a teenager. He currently works for UCCF as Head of Relay and Leadership Network enabling students and recent graduates to consider how the Lordship of Christ over all of life equips us to think, live and speak for Christ with integrity and passion. Ben is married to Ruth and is father to Emma and Reuben. He loves turning his hand to DIY and a spot of gardening.

Ed McMillen

Ed McMillen
(Full Time)

Ed was born and grew up in Newport in South Wales. He grew up in a Christian family and came to know Jesus whilst he was still at primary school. After university in Nottingham Ed worked as an accountant for a number of years before moving to London to train for Church ministry at Oak Hill Theological College. After Oak Hill he served in a church in rural Herefordshire before moving to Myton as one of the full time leaders. Ed is married to Theresa with three children and is a great lover of sport.

Tim Reynolds

Tim Reynolds

Tim was born in Banbury but spent his formative years in South Devon before moving back to the Midlands to attend Loughborough University in the mid 90s, where he met his wife Clare. Tim was guided to faith as a youngster by his Grandmother and that faith was deepened and solidified through a youth group he attended during his teenage years in Devon. Clare & Tim have three teenage children and have attended Myton Church since they finished university in 2001 and moved to the Leamington/Warwick area. Tim has worked at JLR for over 20 years, currently as a software engineering manager, and likes to run, cycle and follows obscure sport when time allows.

Matt Sherratt
Nathan Richards

Nathan Richards
(Full Time)

Nathan grew up in a Christian home and is hugely grateful to his parents for teaching him about Jesus from an early age. Whilst on holiday in the Lake District, aged 7, he committed his life to following Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Nathan moved to London to study the Trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music, later working for a central London church where he met his wife, Charlotte. They now have three energetic children. Before coming to Myton, Nathan trained at Oak Hill College then served as an Assistant Minister at Trinity Church Islington. In his spare time, he loves playing and talking football, reading books and exploring coffee shops.

Matt Sherratt

Born and raised in south Buckinghamshire, God called Matt into His kingdom as a teenager during a year teaching English in Namibia. A call to be a doctor brought Matt to Warwick where as a student he met and married Sarah; and then to Madagascar for eight years where they served at the Good News Project. The Lord has along the way blessed them with five wonderful children. When not working in General Practice, serving at Myton, or manning the fort at home, Matt enjoys a good game of some racquet sport or other, watching cricket, and tinkling on the piano from time to time.

Whilst working there as a teacher, the Lord blessed her with two fantastic children.
